Dev Diary 1 - Strings Project

Everything starts by gathering a team. After that plan is simple “WE MAKE SUPER GAME”! That how it always happening… Unfortunately, Game Dev is war, and victory in this war is to make the final Build with no bugs. At the end with big hope, developers are looking for warm wind of enthusiasm from players. Lets ' Project 4 - Strings Theory ' begins!

 

We plan the project in 3 states:

1. State [2 mo.] - create a playable Alpha version, that we can version up and work on

2. State [2 mo.] - next version / add feature to Alpha 0.2 # Here after 3,5 mo. create a build of actual version for product show of

3. State [2 mo.] - another version / add feature to Alpha 0.3 + finish beta before 6 mo. deadline

# ZERO 'CRUNCHES', SYSTEMATIC WORK WITH ‘GERMAN QUALITY’. HIGH TRANSPARENCY IN WORK ON PROJECT, WITH SIMPLE AND CLEAN FORM.

 

What we have done:

  • Create Team and brainstorming about technology
  • Create Hangouts group for the project
  • 'Project Card' was made that Team Members would be working on
  • Team Google Drive space was created for Repo
  • Tomorrow we will create SVN repository for project
  • On 21:30 (GMT +1) – 12.05.2016 we will be having conference and discuss project details
  • To next Wednesday [ 18.05.2016 ] we want to propose on team board our individual concepts of the game “that each of us want to develop”. In a democratic way, we will choose which concept is the best and upgrade him to develop the process
  • 18.05.2016

* after concept choose we will upgrade him
* we will continue working on concept and planning whole project with TODO list on the calendar
* we will fix information to start work immediately - game engine, duties etc.
